Fire, walk with me

After struggling with 3 demos, we finally managed to release this first album. There are no exact release date for this, because it was released in different countries at different dates. If I don’t remember to wrong, it was first available in Germany in january 2004. Then country after country followed, 27 countries in total.

The album got a lot of great reviews. Remember that I once calculated some sort of average grade for the album, based on around 100 reviews. The method was to transform every grade into a number between 0 and 1. E.g, 4/5 -> 0.8, 5/7 -> 0.71 and so on. If someone, like some german magazines, used the opposite grade (i.e. 1/5 is the best) I changed that to 5/5.

So, the average number based upon this was a little bit more than 0.7, which I liked a lot. Because, among all good reviews, there were  reviewers who really seemed to hate the music. And as you might now, getting one low grade takes a lot of good grades to keep up with the good average

And I guess it’s a good thing when people really don’t like the music at all. It must still mean that you made some kind of impression, right? Much better then getting a mediocre grade.

Unfortunatly the sales where very poor. If I could have choosen about this, I would much rather prefer awful reviews and good sales!

I would have loved to share ALL the tracks from this album with you. But due to some copywright issues, I can only share the songs I composed on my own. I suppose the rest of the songs can be find somewhere anyway However, to kind of compensate for this, I’ve added 7 rare demo songs to the commercial service links. Enjoy!
